If you're planning a spring wedding then be prepared to be enchanted by true elegance. Our fabulous real wedding couple Hannah and Stephen tied the knot in seriously sophisticated style at Mount Juliet Estate in Co. Kilkenny. They dreamt of a simple aesthetic and a romantic vibe and we'll tell you something, it was a match made in heaven. From the demure white and green wedding theme, sumptuously stunning satin dresses, a vintage car that would make anyone feel like a movie star, a rustically romantic reception and so much more, their special day wowed us. Learn about Hannah and Stephen's love story and see their superb day play out in fabulous images by Pawel Bebenca below.

So before the magic of their big day unfolds, let's learn more about our newlyweds. Brunette beauty Hannah is from Dublin while Stephen is a West of Ireland man, hailing from Galway. The couple met in work in January 2017 and sparks quickly flew. Today they live in Dublin.

Christmas is a truly magical time of year and the couple's festive celebrations were taken to new heights of excitement in 2021. That's because that's when Stephen popped the question to Hannah. He got down on bended knee at home in front of their Christmas tree.

The couple dreamt of a "romantic and elegant" wedding day that was "very simple". They wanted to ensure that they were able to soak up the splendour of the most important day of their lives, together. "Our top priority was that we had time together, just the two of us, during the day. We wanted it to be a relaxed day, but with a lot of fun throughout."

The couple also had a day two BBQ bash at the luxurious venue and the comfort of their wedding guests was of paramount importance. "We wanted to make sure that our guests could fully relax over the few days while we were there."

Stephen and his groomsmen looked sharp in classic black tuxes, which were styled with white shirts with black buttons, black satin bowties and black shoes. They enjoyed a cheeky tipple before heading to the church.

Hannah looked utterly captivating in her wedding gown which sported delicate spaghetti straps covered with demure lace, an exposed back and a satin hem. Accessorising with pearl hoop earrings, silver strappy heels, a cathedral veil, and a bracelet she borrowed from her mum, she chose a glowing foundation look with bronze eye makeup and her glossy brunette tresses tumbled over her shoulders in glamorous waves.

Her bridesmaids made a sublime satin statement in sage green gowns which married with the picturesque natural surroundings.

Spring flowers are a beautiful mix of delicate and textural, fragrant and symbolic and there are so many great varieties to choose from. For her special day, Hannah opted for a bouquet in creamy shades which sweetened her already immensely demure bridal look.

Where are our tissues? The first look between Hannah and her father was just too sweet. He looks like the proudest dad in the world.

170 of their nearest and dearest joined them to celebrate their big day on March 24th, 2023. The couple tied the knot at a church in Thomastown where soft and creamy blooms also adorned the pews.

Hannah travelled to the aisle in serious style in a 1965 cream Jaguar with handsome red leather interiors.

A song from their ceremony that rings crystal clear in their minds is If I Should Fall Behind by Bruce Springsteen. "Our singer, the pianist and violinist learned it and and played it in the church while we signed the register. It’s a special song for us."

When it came to selecting their dream wedding venue, it was an easy choice as Hannah and her family have spent a lot of time at the five-star estate on holidays and trips through the years.

"Stephen has since joined us, and taken full advantage of the golf of course! It also meant our guests could all stay on site with us, and take in the surroundings."

Soaked in history and oozing romance, the luxurious country venue is a very popular choice for couples and the grounds are replete with scenic wedding photo spots.

Guests were invited to mingle with a drinks reception in Hunter's Yard before the elegant reception.

While the Manor House exudes old-world charm, Hunter's Yard is modern. The light-filled reception room has a rustic air thanks to the exposed beams.

With fairy lights snaking across the wooden beams overhead, tables were decorated with cream taper candles in foliage-adorned candleholders so there was an undeniably rustic and amorous vibe to the space.

Bride and groom embrace during their Mount Juliet wedding

We're going to briefly pause the proceedings while we have a right swoon over the couple's entrance. They look so blissfully happy.

Reminiscing about their romantic reception, they give a special mention to the speeches which they say were "incredibly special".

When it comes to wedding planning advice, the couple say: "Trust your suppliers! They have it all in hand, and are incredibly professional." They had a spine-tingling surprise lined up for their guests with an electrifying drum performance which got everyone firmly in the mood for the dancefloor. "It actually started to rain a little just as they started in the courtyard, but the Mount Juliet staff brought umbrellas outside and it actually added to the atmosphere." White wedding cakes always make a sublimely sophisticated statement and their three-tier cake was adorned with a chic blend of white blooms and foliage.

They hit the dancefloor for the first time as husband and wife to the uber-romantic Thinking of You by Sister Sledge. The couple were due to jet off on their honeymoon but the universe had other very exciting plans for them. "Our honeymoon has been postponed, as we are excited to be expecting our first baby."
