Baker and owner of SD Cakes, Saima Hebel takes great pleasure in working with couples to design the cake of their dreams, creating something truly amazing from scratch.
A creative luxury cake designer, Saima has been featured in many publications and is the deserving winner of numerous cake competitions and shows.
Saima works alongside her husband David creating delicious cakes with the 'wow' factor and specialises in making the most sensational sugar flowers that look almost too good to eat!
Ever since she was a little girl, Saima was fascinated by exotic flowers and fashion designs and she put this passion into henna designs. In 2010, Saima began to learn about cake decorating while baking at 'Brennan's Cook Shop' in County Cork. Here, she completed her professional Diploma in Cake Decorating and soon, SD Cakes was born!
Saima loves bold colours, intricate details and adding the 'Wow' factor to all her creations and this is a hallmark of all her wedding cake designs.
